Wonderful dining experience. I was in a bit of a rush to find a place for lunch as it was nearing 2 PM and decided to go here. I ordered the duck confit and it was a solid dish. The duck was juicy and crispy and the accompanying potatoes were also delicious. The waiter was also absolutely gracious and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good meal in the area.

Great value and location. We had the steak (the cheaper cut) and the trout tartare, and we loved them both. Generous servings for a reasonable price. My only minor complaint is maybe an additional server would be helpful during the lunch rush, but we still enjoyed the ambience, and the server was working hard.
Best confit de canard we had while in the region! The staff was friendly and we were able to take the bottle of wine back to our hotel to enjoy while watching the Notre Damn grand reopening ceremony!
Very nice little local restaurant. Sweet and friendly service. Low waiting time for the food. Very large portion. Super tasty. And exceptionally nice prices.
Not only aria nuce location, but also one of the busiest food I had in France. And the waiter was super friendly
It was our last night in the Perigord Noir, staying in Castelnaud and we walked down for what I thought was going to be an early/quiet dinner (late September... and many of the restaurants in town are closed). Instead, it was a lively environment (at 1930!) . We loved our two waitresses and watched the small kitchen staff deliver a great combination of dishes including Boeuf and Caesar salad with duck.
Wonderful food, great service and super location. We had the menu du jour, which was reasonably priced but excellent (great value for money). Would definitely recommend.
